State Rep. Abdullah Hammoud (D-Dearborn) was sworn in officially today as representative for the 15th House District for the 2019-2020 legislative session. The swearing-in ceremony marked the formal opening of Michigan’s 100th Legislature. In response, Rep. Hammoud issued the following statement:
“Dearborn will always be my home, and I am humbled to serve my neighbors for a second term. With a new legislature and new leadership comes new opportunities, and I am excited to be part of the leadership team working to enact an agenda that will uplift working families across our state. My top goals have been, and will continue to be, ensuring all Michiganders have clean water and air, the opportunity to earn strong wages and benefits, affordable auto insurance and quality infrastructure they can rely on.”
